Review the OTP type, secret encoding, account label, issuer, and relevant parameters. For HOTP, the starting counter matters; for TOTP, the time period matters.
Strict format checks
This tool rejects unknown or repeated parameters, invalid Base32 data, and settings that do not apply to the selected code type. A supported link may still use settings that some authenticator apps ignore. Check the original service instructions before changing a value.
