Authenticator QR Code Generator
Turn an existing setup key into an authenticator QR code. Creating a QR code does not enable two-factor authentication on an account.
Use an existing setup key, or try the demo.

A setup key can generate future codes. Keep it private, just as you would a password.
Need a hand?Build a setup QR code
Enter the secret supplied by your service or test system, then add a clear issuer and account label. Match the code settings to the system that will verify the codes.
Keep the QR code private
Anyone with the QR code may be able to add the same key to another authenticator. Avoid public image hosts, shared documents, and screenshots that sync to accounts you do not control.
Check compatibility
Authenticator apps do not all handle optional settings in the same way. After scanning, compare a code with a known working setup before relying on it.
Need a new account setup?
Use the account’s own security settings to begin enrollment. This tool formats a key; it cannot register that key with another service.
